Why switch to Fenrid?

Most platforms treat privacy as a feature. For us, it's the foundation. We're building the first community space where you actually own your data, your voice, and your identity.

Your ideas drive our roadmap. Come share them in our temporary home until we launch.

Your messages, protected at every layer

Every DM is encrypted before it touches our database. A breach exposes ciphertext, not conversations.

You
Compose your message
Encryption
Client-side message encryption with X25519, HKDF, and AES-GCM
Zero-Knowledge Server
Sees only unreadable ciphertext blobs
Decryption
Decrypted locally on the recipient device
Recipient
Reads the plaintext message

Database breach

Attackers only see encrypted ciphertext. Without the decryption keys, the data is unreadable.

True E2EE

Direct messages are encrypted locally before upload using passphrase-derived account keys and per-message encryption keys. A server breach exposes ciphertext, not plaintext messages.

Privacy First

Your DM private key is derived locally from your passphrase and stored in your browser on this device. Your public key is stored on the server so other users can encrypt messages to you.

Our content access policy

Message content is only accessed when a report is submitted by a user. We do not proactively read, scan, or monitor conversations.
